With Dance Dash, volunteers and donors dance their way through the 5K, while raising funds to help kids in their own communities by inviting friends and family members to support. Learn more about your local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital at CMNHospitals.org.
2nd Annual Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood Event, New York NY
09/13 to 09/13/2014 in Charity
LOCATION: Irving Place (between 17/18th streets), New York NY
FOCO Pure Coconut Water will be hydrating patrons of the 2014 Taste of Gramercy Event! Join us for tastings of the best restaurants in the neighborhood!
For the second year in a row, GNA will be hosting its now famous Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood (“TOGN”) on Irving Place. TOGN was started to promote local businesses and introduce residents of NYC to the wonderful array of food that Gramercy has to offer. Last year’s event exceeded everyone’s expectations – 20 participating restaurants, 12 sponsors, and nearly 500 tickets sold! Net proceeds went to benefit local schools, including PS 40 and School of the Future, and all leftover food went to feed the homeless that day in NYC.
This year, GNA hopes to build on its previous success and solidify “TOGN” as a neighborhood and citywide institution. TOGN proceeds will help our local schools create a healthier lunch program and, same as last year, all leftover food from the event will go to feed New York’s homeless that day via The Bowery Mission.

More than just a few-mile trek, the Walk to Defeat ALS® is an opportunity to bring hope to people living with ALS, to raise money for a cure, and to come together for something you care about. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is The ALS Association’s biggest annual event, which raises funds that allow our local chapters to sustain care services and support research for much of the next year.
